Commissions
I have worked with architects, interior designers, art consultants, and private clients to create the mural that will enhance and beautify the space.
Generally, when creating a mural project, there are 5 steps:
- I visit the site (or often, I can work from photos) to take measurements, photograph the site, look at colors and/or other details of the environment. At this time, the client and I discuss the intention of the project and possible solutions and whateer details will be necessary.
To go ahead with a design, a design fee will be taken at this point.
- The project is designed, to scale, on paper, in color, with 2-3 possible solutions. A total cost and time-line will be itemized with each design. If the design is accepted, the design fee will be included in the total project cost.
- The client approves one of the designs. Discussion of necessary changes may be made at this point. Fifty percent (50%) of the project cost is paid to begin the project.
- The artist begins work at the site.
- The mural is completed. The approval of the project by the client includes final payment for the project. All are enthusiastically satisfied with the beautiful mural.
